Key responsibilities
* Team and people management:
* Manage and supervise all pharmacy staff.
* Foster a positive, collaborative, and supportive team culture.
* Conduct staff training, mentoring, and performance reviews.
* Ensure staff are clear on their roles, responsibilities, and performance standards.
* Commercial and operational management:
* Drive sales performance and identify new business opportunities.
* Manage budgets, including wages, and work to optimize profitability.
* Oversee inventory management, stock control, and cash handling according to company procedures.
* Ensure efficient daily operations and maintain a high level of customer service.
* Manage and maintain store standards, including merchandising and stock rotation.
* Compliance and administration:
* Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation.
* Enforce all departmental and organizational policies.
* Maintain accurate records for purchasing, dispensing, and other activities.
Essential skills and experience
* Proven management experience, preferably in a pharmacy setting.
* Strong leadership, communication, and people skills.
* Excellent organizational and customer service abilities.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Main duties
* Ability to build rapport with customers, offering them compelling reasons to return Excellent communication skills and capable of working on own initiative.
