We are Kids Inc. We provide Early Years and Afterschool Care services with over 25 years in the childcare industry. Our goal is to extend children's daily learning through sports and creative programs with a strict 'No Screen Time' policy. We operate 4 Creches and Preschool services in Dublin and host over 60 Onsite Breakfast and Afterschool Care programs nationwide.
We are looking for kind, enthusiastic, and dedicated individuals who are passionate about working with children to join our team. We are currently recruiting for a Part-Time term-time Kitchen Assistant in Ballinteer to join our busy Afterschool & Holiday service.
The Role
This position involves re heating or preparing meals for Afterschool attendees in a sanitary and timely manner, preparing fresh snacks in line with our healthy eating policy, coordinating with the Afterschool Manager and Supervisor to develop the coming week's snack menu, operating standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, maintaining a clean working station, and adhering to health and safety standards. Completion of HACCP paperwork and awareness of different dietary requirements and allergies are required.
Your profile
* At least 1-2 years of experience working as a Kitchen Assistant
* Garda vetting and reference checks required for child safety
* Fluent English speaker
* Valid driver's license (preferred but not required)
