Occupational Therapist Professional
Cheeverstown provides supported living, respite, New Directions, and employment supports to adults with intellectual disabilities.
Role Overview:
* The primary goal of this position is to deliver a high-quality, person-centred occupational therapy service to adults in need of support.
* The caseload consists of various conditions including neurological, musculoskeletal, sensory, and orthopaedic disorders as well as 24-hour postural management and seating clinics.
Key Responsibilities:
* Possess a diploma or degree in Occupational Therapy from a reputable institution.
* Maintain active registration as an Occupational Therapist with the relevant authority.
* Demonstrate at least 3 years of satisfactory experience post-qualification.
* Proven experience working within the disability sector.
Person Specification:
* A deep understanding of occupational therapy principles and practices.
* An ability to work effectively with individuals and teams.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
