Production Manager Our Client in the Northwest have a requirement for a Production Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. Excellent Salary and benefits package.Contact Conor O'Hagan for further details.The Role:Reporting to the Site Manager the Manufacturing manager will keep strategic and tactical responsibility for implementing operational strategy and strategic operational goals to exceed customer expectations for product quality, cost and delivery, maximising efficiency, optimising production levels and driving operational excellence. Duties include:To support the Head of Manufacturing and the Senior Leadership Team in the formation of the site strategy, business plan and budgets. To work with the General Manager and leadership team to develop and deliver the sites business plan and budget. Ensure finished products are produced in the most cost-effective manner to the set standards of safety, quality, and specification. Develop and maintain a culture of positive employee engagement. Establish appropriate KPI's and manage to ensure production output are measured, monitored, and controlled against the agreed standards. Ensure site costs are controlled and are measured against set daily, weekly and monthly KPI's and reported accordingly. Any significant deviations, should they occur, are reported immediately with proposed corrective actions.Work with the Engineering Manager and General Manager on minor and major CAPEX projects.Lead, champion and deliver the departmental business improvement plans. Hold regular performance reviews and set objectives for all production staff.The Person:At Least 3 years recent experience working at a Production management levelA strong Food / Drinks manufacturing background with a clear understanding of the FMCG industry.Must have the ability to communicate information effectively.
