Red Chair Recruitment is delighted to partner with our client in Newcastle West, County Limerick to recruit a motivated and personable Retail Sales Assistant.
This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-oriented professional who enjoys a hands-on role in a busy showroom environment and takes pride in providing outstanding service.
While experience in bathrooms, stoves, tiles, plumbing, or a related retail sector would be beneficial, comprehensive training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers, ensuring a positive showroom experience
Offer informed guidance on a wide selection of bathroom, tile, and stove products
Prepare and process sales orders and customer quotations accurately
Manage cash and card transactions
Maintain high standards of showroom presentation
Support stock management and inventory control
Key Requirements:
At least 2 years' experience in a retail or customer-facing position
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team
Strong interpersonal, communication, and basic IT skills
This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday work required.
The salary range is approximately €32,000–€35,000, with an attractive bonus structure.
