Print Department Manager
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled supervisor/manager to oversee the production on shift basis, general production, quality of product, health & safety, equipment, performance, and manage production personnel in a dynamic environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, be able to implement and continuously improve processes, and take a hands-on approach to managing the print department.
Key Responsibilities:
* Full responsibility for the management of the print department, ensuring the production plan and metrics are achieved.
* Act as Health and Safety champion, and foster a health and safety culture.
* Ensure the plan is executed in a timely fashion, meeting operational efficiencies at all times.
* Hold regular communication meetings with the team.
* Contribute to employee appraisals annually.
* Drive individual employee performance on a daily basis and provide regular feedback to all employees.
* Manage equipment performance and checking to ensure plans are achieved.
* Drive continuous improvement of Product Quality & Plant Efficiencies on each shift.
Candidate Requirements:
* At least 3 years' experience at supervisory/managerial level.
* Culturally aware with excellent communication skills.
* Ability to work with all levels within the organization.
