**Job Opportunity:**
We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide technical support to our engineers and customers, as well as manage customer equipment breakdowns.
The successful candidate will have:
* Experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment;
* Familiarity with plastics machinery (Fanuc and Piovan experience is a distinct advantage);
* Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics;
* Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the service department;
* Provide technical support to field service engineers and customers;
* Manage customer equipment breakdowns;
* Liaise with principal partners to source support, parts, and schematics;
* Maintain and upload RAMS to customer portals;
* Manage calibration instruments and service documentation;
* Update machinery records in the software management system;
* Collaborate on service schedules and contribute to operational planning and budgeting.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (preferred);
* Minimum of 10 years experience in an engineering/manufacturing environment;
* Previous experience in a maintenance or service-focused role.
