About the Role
Our Carehome Pharmacy service at Pottery Rd Dunlaoghaire continues to expand as we take on new clients.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Support Pharmacist with some previous nursing experience to join our team.
This role is ideal for a motivated pharmacist who enjoys working to high clinical standards while supporting pharmacy operations, regulatory compliance and best in class service delivery.
You will work closely with the supervising pharmacist and senior management team and nursing homes to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient pharmaceutical care for patients.
Key Responsibilities
Support and lead the pharmacy team in delivering patients
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legislative requirements
Liaise with nursing home staff, prescribers, and healthcare professionals
Oversee accurate dispensing and stock management
Contribute to operational improvements and quality initiatives
Provide professional advice and support to staff
Assist in training and mentoring junior team members
Requirements
Minimum 3 years' post-registration experience
Experience working with nursing home patients
Strong organisational, communication, and attention to detail skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
