Responsible for participation in pharmacy operations, medication distribution, inventory control, Omnicell usage, and maintenance of personal technical competency. Technical skills required include expertise in Omnicell use and medication preparation. Additionally, provides exemplary customer service, contributes to the efficient operation and productivity of the Pharmacy Department, and displays the interest and motivation to achieve excellence in pharmacy practice in the institutional setting QualificationsEducationHigh School Diploma requiredCan this role accept experience in lieu of a degree?NoLicenses and CredentialsPharmacist Intern (State License) - Generic - HR Only requiredExperiencePharmacy Experience 0-1 year preferredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities- Ability to learn computer and application skills as applicable to role.- Ability to interact with and work around people.- Ability to make judgments in demanding situations.- Ability to react to frequent changes in duties and volume of work.- Effective verbal and written communication skills.- Ability to listen empathetically.- Ability to logically organize details.
