Job Overview
You will participate in a customer-focused claims handling team, dealing with liability claims from registration to settlement.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide first telephone contact for customers in a friendly and professional manner.
* Capture necessary information at the notification stage in a comprehensive and accurate manner.
* Make decisions on claim outcomes early to reduce costs and lifecycle.
* Target claims for direct settlement with claimants and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Manage claims through the Injuries Board process and litigation, including liaising with legal defence teams and expert witnesses.
Requirements
* Hold an APA qualification in Personal and Commercial Insurance.
* Demonstrate strong customer service skills, technical knowledge of liability claims handling, and excellent understanding of litigation processes.
* Have significant experience managing multiple stakeholders, being proactive, highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented.
