Senior Project Planner – Civil Engineering / Construction – Permanent
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Planner with a strong background in civil engineering and construction to join our client's growing team.
This role will oversee planning and project control activities, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, review, and manage detailed project programmes in compliance with company and functional procedures.
Establish and promote best practices in health, safety, and environmental matters.
Engage with project teams to communicate work scope effectively.
Conduct programme risk analysis and contribute to the project risk register.
Prepare resource schedules and visual support materials for project delivery.
Manage project documentation efficiently and maintain orderly records.
Support bid preparation and contribute to tender queries.
Define methods and outputs in consultation with estimators and project teams.
Attend handover and bid review meetings, providing clear planning insights.
Coach and support colleagues within the planning function.
Requirements:
Relevant degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years' experience in Planning and Project Controls within the construction and engineering industry.
Experience with civil engineering contracting at Agent level (preferred).
Strong knowledge of planning techniques for tendering and contract delivery.
Clear understanding of commercial and contractual planning interfaces.
Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Project.
