SGS GAS (Gas Analysis Services) now have exciting opportunities for Site Analytical Engineers to join our expanding teams in the Leinster Region. These are full-time permanent positions reporting directly to the Field Service Supervisor. The core function of this site-based role is to carry out gas analysis testing on site for our extensive customer base across all industries.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop an excellent knowledge of process gas testing and customer requirements
* Develop and understanding of testing standards and analysis methods.
* Undergo competency training in SGS GAS procedures & methods
* Follow Data integrity procedures and policies and carry out work to the highest level of integrity.
* Travel to customer sites for gas testing and sample retrieval for laboratory analysis
* Travel to customer sites for service and calibration of equipment
* Provide technical support to customers
* Complete and support the completion of testing reports
* Carry out all duties in line with ISO17025, Customer requirements
* Have a positive attitude and complete work under the SGS GAS company culture.
* Assist the SGS GAS quality team in maintaining the Quality Management System
* Assist in identifying root cause of quality issues and performance gaps
* Create and maintain company quality documents
* Comply with the Company standard operating procedures and policies.

Qualifications
* 3rd Level qualification in a relevant field or
* 2 years' experience in a relevant field
