Lead Clinical Pharmacist in Haematology / Oncology
The ideal candidate will lead the development of clinical protocols to ensure appropriate medication use within the haematology/oncology pharmacy service.
* Develop and implement clinical protocols aligned with national and international best practices.
* Manage quality and risk assessments, investigating and implementing corrective actions on any medication errors.
* Collaborate closely with the Aseptic Services Pharmacy Manager to ensure safe and efficient supply of compounded products.
* Provide guidance on pharmaceutical aspects related to clinical trial setup and management in haematology/oncology.
* Work proactively with consultants, procurement teams, and finance representatives to introduce new therapies.
Requirements:
The successful candidate should possess a minimum of five years of relevant post-registration hospital experience, including time in a senior role in haematology/oncology, and be registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland as a qualified pharmacist.
