Job Opportunity: Senior Tax Accountant
A newly created position offers the chance to work closely with a seasoned Tax Partner and help shape the future of our tax services. We are seeking an experienced and qualified Tax professional to take on this key role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work closely with the Tax Partner to deliver both compliance and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of clients.
* Take the lead on a wide variety of tax advisory projects while maintaining involvement in compliance work.
* Manage and oversee the delivery of tax services, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
* Provide technical support to junior staff and assist in their development, with an aim to gradually manage and build out the tax team.
* Act as a key point of contact for clients, offering proactive advice on tax issues and planning opportunities.
Requirements:
* A highly skilled Tax professional (AITI / Chartered Tax Advisor) with a recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA).
* Minimum 45 years post-qualification experience in practice, within a medium-sized accountancy firm in Ireland.
* Strong background in both tax compliance and advisory services, with the ability to balance both aspects effectively.
* The successful candidate will have a proven ability to manage client relationships and provide commercially sound advice.
