Job Title: Bid Manager
We are seeking an experienced Bid Manager to join our team. As a Bid Manager, you will play a key role in leading the RFP/RFQ process and developing exceptional proposal responses.
Key Responsibilities:
* Partner with Corporate Sales Managers to lead the RFP/RFQ process and leverage internal resources to define our Win Strategy.
* Lead the review of existing repository of approved proposal responses to ensure accuracy and clear messaging of our credentials.
* Collaborate with subject matter experts from other teams to develop compelling, value-based messaging for our product and service proposition.
* Track and analyze key proposal metrics to measure effectiveness and identify areas of improvement.
* Provide monthly updates on the proposal development pipeline to senior stakeholders.
* Coach team members on the ongoing development of engaging proposal responses tailored to customer needs.
Requirements:
* Experience working in a Proposal/Bid Manager role.
* Excellent project management skills, including the ability to organize and lead multiple teams on simultaneous proposal response efforts.
* Exceptional writing and communication skills, with strong attention to detail and ability to craft tailored messaging for diverse audiences.
* Self-motivated and adaptable, with ability to shift priorities and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Skilled at building strong relationships with stakeholders across teams, fostering alignment throughout the proposal process.
* Operates with integrity and respect in all interactions.
* Familiarity with key tools like PowerPoint, Smart Sheet, etc., with eye for formatting, consistency, and clarity in proposal content.
Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
* Experience supporting sales strategies to improve sales team effectiveness.
* Knowledge of the Foodservice industry.
* Experience working within a fast-growth company.
* Experience with Salesforce and proposal management software.
