Morgan McKinley has partnered with an accounting practice in Kerry to hire an Accountant. In this position you will be responsible for a wide range of SME clients focusing on audit, tax and accouants preparation. Please note this position is 100% on site. What You'll Be Responsible For: Preparing working papers and financial statements in accordance with applicable standards and internal procedures Leading and conducting audits across a broad client base, in line with auditing standards and best practices Preparing corporate and personal tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws Investigating issues identified during engagements and proposing effective solutions Managing assignments to ensure completion within agreed budgets and deadlines Developing and maintaining strong, professional relationships with a diverse portfolio of clients Delivering high-quality work in a timely, efficient, and professional manner Meeting fee targets for your assigned client portfolio Preparing technical documentation, briefs, and checklists for both internal team use and client support What We're Looking For: 3-5 years of experience in a public accounting firm or general accounting practice ACA or ACCA qualification (or in progress) Strong technical knowledge of current accounting and auditing standards Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office tools Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present clearly and confidently A proactive, self-motivated individual with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Leadership abilities, with experience supervising and mentoring junior staff Meticulous attention to detail, a high level of integrity, and a commitment to confidentiality
