They decompose business requirements into features and functions, work with cross-functional teams to define details, and act as the voice of the business customer for platform services.
Responsibilities Set the vision and direction for platform design of assigned products.
Lead a global team of contributors and managers to develop a 1-2 year platform product strategy.
Build strong connections within and outside the organization to deliver results.
Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies for platform development and adoption.
Monitor feature development, defects, and operational metrics.
Communicate department vision aligned with organizational goals.
Promote a data-driven, continuous learning culture.
Make trade-off decisions across multiple platform products.
Participate in organizational planning and manage escalations.
Conduct post-launch reviews and incorporate customer feedback.
Share best practices with Mastercard teams.
Engage with customers to identify issues and gather roadmap feedback.
Leverage data analysis to solve complex problems and lead cross-disciplinary teams.
Oversee team operations, mentor junior product managers, and set individual goals.
Represent Mastercard in external stakeholder engagements and strategic discussions.
Drive adoption of platform products in multiple markets.
Provide coaching and feedback to team members.
