This growth has been fueled by our proprietary flame cooked cooking process, which includes the largest BBQ line in Europe, and produces a unique product range that is sold in over 20 countries across Europe. As one of Irelands largest beef companies and an established supplier of beef across Europe, we have partnerships with the potential for development in the European market, but the opportunity is also there to help shape the long term customer & route to market plan for the European food-to-go business.
We have an exciting opportunity for Business Development Manager to join our commercial team.
Location: Blanchardstown, Dublin - Flexible, Hybrid Working
Territory: Mainland Europe - Primarily Germany, Belgium & Netherlands
Reporting To: Head of Key Accounts EU- Kepak Foods
The role will involve building relationships with their distribution partners and other complimentary suppliers (equipment/ bakery/ sauces). Our key accounts have an international business so some travel within Europe may be required. The success of the role will depend on capturing the market insights (incl. competitor, customer, product)
Key Responsibilities:
* Become an expert on the European Food to Go sector and drive the development of Kepak sales with key accounts by working with central Key Account contacts at national level while also building relationships with their operations at regional & store level.
* Responsible for the delivery of agreed commercial KPIs e.g. Margin/Volume/Revenue/Growth for your designated accounts.
* Support our Market Entry Strategy by developing new and existing customer base with a specific focus on cooking, sampling, presenting and selling the Kepak product portfolio in line with our consultative model
* Responsible for effective account planning (JBPs) that are fully aligned with Brand Plans to deliver consistency of execution & activation of key Customers whilst maximizing return on investment for the business.
* Support and manage the development of high potential leads (key accounts)- develop business cases (investment and cross functional support) for review & approval by the Senior Management Team.
* Being an ambassador for our products, services, brands and the company across both external and internal stakeholders.
* Develop effective working relationships across all relevant key functions within the business, with a focus on respecting everyone's views and helping facilitate an aligned & collaborative approach to solving issues together as one Team.
Requirements
* Minimum experience 3 years in the food/ food-to-go industry
* Must have a full clean, driving licence and must be eligble to work and travel across the EU
* Strong communicator and exceptional skills in building and creating customer relationships
* A Team Player who is eager to learn, proactive, and able to contribute to a collaborative team
* Fluency in spoken & written German is highly desirable
