HR & Regulatory Compliance Officer
to take ownership of our HR compliance processes across our nationwide homecare services.
This is a process-focused role (not people management) where you'll play a key part in ensuring our organisation consistently meets Irish employment law, HIQA, HSE, and internal governance standards.
The Role
As the HR & Regulatory Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining HR compliance frameworks, audit readiness, and regulatory processes across the organisation. Your focus will be on policy governance, data preparation, audit support, vetting cycles, and training compliance.
Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
* Maintain and update HR policies and procedures in line with Irish employment law and healthcare regulations
* Conduct internal HR compliance audits and prepare documentation and reports for internal and external reviews
* Coordinate and support external audits and inspections (e.g. HIQA, HSE, ISO)
* Support employment eligibility checks, Garda Vetting, and periodic re-verification processes
* Manage HR compliance tracking for mandatory training, documentation, and reporting
* Monitor legislative and regulatory changes and assist in drafting and updating policies accordingly
What You'll Bring
* Minimum 5 years' HR experience, with at least 2 years in a hands-on compliance, audit, or governance-focused role
* CIPD qualification or membership desirable
* Experience in a regulated environment (healthcare, social care, public sector) highly advantageous
* Strong working knowledge of HIQA standards, Irish employment law, Garda Vetting, safeguarding, and compliance audits
* Highly organised, process-driven, and meticulous in approach
* Strong document control, data management, and reporting skills
* Confident using HR systems, excel and handling sensitive information
* Based in Ireland; role is anchored in Santry, Dublin 17, with flexibility to travel nationwide as required
