 
        
        Our client is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner (6 – 9-month Contract) to lead strategic people-related workstreams for mergers, acquisitions, and integration projects in the Republic of Ireland. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless cultural and operational integration while maintaining compliance with Irish employment legislation. During periods of reduced M&A activity, the HR Business Partner will provide proactive generalist HR support to assigned business units, driving employee engagement, performance management, and cultural alignment.
Responsibilities
 * Conduct comprehensive HR due diligence for M&A transactions, assessing people-related risks, liabilities, and opportunities.
 * Lead the HR aspects including managing TUPE processes and ensuring compliance with Irish employment law.
 * Develop and implement HR integration plans, covering people, processes, policies, and systems, while ensuring cultural alignment.
 * Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to manage project plans and milestones for successful integration efforts.
 * Provide expert HR advisory support during periods of reduced M&A activity, including employee relations, performance management, and talent development.
Ideal Candidate
 * Experience as an HR Business Partner with expertise in M&A integration, restructuring, or change management.
 * In-depth knowledge of Irish employment law, including TUPE transfers and employee consultations.
 * Strong project management skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
 * Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and influencing abilities.
 * CIPD qualification or equivalent is highly desirable, along with relevant education in Human Resources, Business, or Law.
