Company Overview
Our client, a utilities contractor with various ongoing projects across the country, is seeking an Environmental Advisor to support their team in Dublin. This role will involve assisting the Site Teams and Managers by recognising hazards and seeking to minimise risks, ensuring high standards are attained and continually improved and to ensure all HSEQT legal obligations are met.
Job Summary
Provide technical expertise and support to the Health Safety and Environmental Team.
Conduct site visits to review environmental and ESG related performance.
Assist in external audits.
Engage with our supply chain and vendors relating to environmental and sustainability requirements, performance and improvement.
Develop and deliver Environmental and ESG related training and communications
Attend relevant HSE meetings as required.
Develop, maintain and foster collaborative relationships with the wider project team.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Environmental/Sustainability management or equivalent role.
Bachelor’s Degree/ Third level education in a related Environmental, Sustainability or Construction sector discipline.
Knowledge in the implementation and auditing of Environmental Management Systems to ISO 14001 standard.
Ability to prioritise work requirements and handling multiple tasks.
IT Skills – MS Office packages and database experience.
Full Drivers licence.
