Linen Porter Job Description
Job Summary:
The Linen Porter plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient handling, distribution, and storage of linen throughout the hotel. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join our team and contribute to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
* Collect, sort, and distribute clean linen to various departments including guest rooms, spa, and food & beverage outlets.
* Remove used linen and transport it to the laundry area.
* Maintain stock levels of linen and report shortages or damages.
* Ensure linen storage areas are clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards.
* Assist with inventory checks and stock rotation.
* Support the housekeeping team with additional duties as required.
* Respond promptly to linen requests from other departments.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
We are looking for an individual with previous experience in a similar role or hospitality environment. A full, clean driver's license is also required. In addition, the successful candidate will have good physical fitness, be able to lift and carry heavy loads, and possess strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
