Base pay range
Your New Company
A medium sized mechanical and electrical contractor with a turnover of €30+ million. They work on a wide variety of projects that include high density residential schemes (apartments + housing), hotels, fitouts and office blocks along with some industrial work. They have a mixed used development project starting in Dublin in the new year and are looking to add a senior member of staff to their mechanical division that will oversee these projects. They work with a selected number of main contractors and win repeat business directly from developers and main contractors.
Your new role
* Manage and supervise all aspects of mechanical projects from inception to completion.
* Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met.
* Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
* Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations.
* Resolve any issues or delays that may arise during the project lifecycle.
* Prepare project reports and documentation for stakeholders.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
What you will need
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Trade Qualification.
* Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager or similar role.
* Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, installation, and maintenance.
* Excellent project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise.
* Strong communication and leadership skills.
* Proficiency in project management software and tools.
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Valid driving licence.
