Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Head Chef to lead our kitchen team at The Derg Inn, a busy bar and gastro pub restaurant in County Tipperary.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of chef work experience and expertise in professional cookery, kitchen supervision, and kitchen health and hygiene procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Menu writing and development
* Cooking food to order and maintaining high culinary standards
* Supervising kitchen service and ensuring seamless operations
* Helping with staff training and development
* Ordering and inventory management
* Maintaining kitchen health and hygiene standards
Requirements:
* At least 5 years of chef work experience
* Expertise in professional cookery, kitchen supervision, and kitchen health and hygiene procedures
* Excellent leadership and communication skills
