Our client provides high-quality, family-centred services to children and young people (0–18 years) with complex disabilities and developmental needs, making a meaningful difference every day.
About the Roles
You will work as part of a Children’s Disability Network Team (CDNT), providing holistic support to children and families in line with the Progressing Disability Services (PDS) model.
Key Responsibilities of the Social Worker
1. Provide assessments, support plans, and therapeutic interventions
2. Work closely with families, caregivers, and the wider multidisciplinary team
3. Deliver case management, safeguarding, and advocacy services
4. Collaborate in team planning, service delivery, and family-centred goal setting
5. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff (Senior role)
Requirements for the Social Worker
Staff Grade Social Worker:
1. Professional Social Work qualification and CORU registration
2. Experience working with children and families
3. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
4. Knowledge of disability services and relevant legislation (e.g. Children First, Disability Act)
Senior Social Worker:
1. Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience
2. Proven leadership, clinical supervision, and service development skills
3. Strong understanding of family-centred practice and interagency collaboration
