Sales Rep Manager – CorkExcel Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Rep Manager to join our client's retail team in Cork.

Reporting to the Regional Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of independent wholesale accounts, nurturing long-term relationships, and identifying opportunities to drive sales growth.
Salary: €55k – €60k
Responsibilities: Develop and maintain strong, trusted relationships with wholesale customers
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding the existing customer base
Manage all aspects of account activity including order processing, delivery follow-up, and issue resolution
Meet and exceed sales revenue, margin targets, and KPIs
Monitor and report on market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy
Collaborate with internal departments (logistics, finance, marketing) to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction
Support the company's strategic goals by contributing to territory growth and brand development Requirements: Proven experience in Account Management in sales or Business Development experience
A demonstrated high-level understanding of the FMCG business environment, preferably in the grocery sector
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple accounts independently
Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
A proactive, results-driven mindset and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
