Responsibilities will include:
Software Support & Maintenance
Provide first and second-line support for business-critical software (e.g., ERP systems, CAD, project management tools, financial and HR platforms).
Manage software installations.
Troubleshoot application issues and liaise with external vendors when required.
Systems Administration
Ensure integration of software with other business systems (finance, HR, engineering tools).
Monitor system performance, backups and compliance with company policies.
Assist in system upgrades and data migrations.
Process Improvement
Work with engineering and operations teams to understand workflows and recommend digital tools or process automation.
Develop reporting dashboards, queries and templates to improve decision-making.
Test and roll out new features and modules, ensuring minimal disruption to users.
Security & Compliance
Maintain data protection and ensure compliance with GDPR and internal IT security standards.
Support IT audits and implement controls where required.
Training & Documentation
Deliver end-user training on software tools and best practices.
Maintain clear technical documentation, FAQs and user guides.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field.
3+ years of software development experience—particularly in industrial engineering, manufacturing or automation contexts.
Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, C#, Java or similar.
Familiarity with CAD software integrations (e.g., PTC Creo, SolidWorks) or engineering data interoperability is highly desirable.
Understanding of databases (SQL/noSQL), version control systems, CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms.
A track record of delivering technical projects under deadline pressures in a collaborative setting.
Excellent communicator, capable of liaising with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Self-starter mindset with proactive problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in IoT, industrial automation, SCADA or operational systems for manufacturing or plant environments.
Background in lean engineering, value engineering or continuous process improvement.
Knowledge of CAD automation, 3D models management or design-to-manufacture workflows.
Exposure to quality and safety standards (ISO 9001, H&S protocols).
