We are working with a well known Irish retail brand, who are going through significant growth as they continue to grow their presence here in Ireland. An opportunity has arisen for an ambitious accountant to join the team and report directly into the Finance manager in a broad, end-to-end role. The role will be based in Galway on a hybrid basis and will provide the successful candidate with significant learning and progression opportunities.
The successful candidate will:
* Deliver accurate and timely month-end reporting, manage cash flows, and monitor foreign exchange exposure.
* Prepare forecasts and support in budgeting, variance analysis, and year-end audit processes.
* Support strategic decision-making through insightful financial analysis.
The Ideal Candidate will be:
* A fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CPA) with strong technical skills and a proactive mindset.
* A team player who communicates effectively and thrives in a collaborative setting, while also demonstrating the ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
* Ambitious to learn and evolve with the business and keen to progress in their finance career.
This position is ideal for someone coming from a broad, medium-sized practice background who is ready to make their first move into industry and gain exposure to a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
