Business Development Manager Role Summary
We are seeking a skilled Business Development Manager to join our team. This role is focused on generating new leads, delivering sales and revenue targets, and driving business growth.
About the Job
* We are looking for an experienced sales professional with a proven track record of meeting set targets in the payments industry.
* You will be responsible for managing a defined business segment within your territory, achieving agreed KPIs, and delivering sales and revenue targets.
* A key aspect of this role is developing a detailed understanding of the customer pipeline and structured planning to maximise efficiency and volume of prospects.
* You will also work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure all activities are completed compliantly and in accordance with training provided on internal and external compliance guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage a defined business segment within your territory to achieve sales and revenue targets.
2. Develop a detailed understanding of the customer pipeline and structured planning to maximise efficiency and volume of prospects.
3. Deliver ongoing competitor feedback and industry insight to support business growth.
4. Maintain knowledge on all services and activities to effectively represent the company in a consistently professional manner.
Requirements
* Proven ability to meet set targets in direct sales experience.
* Experience in engaging with decision-makers around features and benefits of a product or service.
* Ability to have commercial conversations and build instant rapport with customers.
* An eye for detail ensuring accurate and timely data capture.
