Responsibilities
Manage inventory and purchasing processes to ensure timely material availability while controlling stock levels and costs.
Use ERP and planning systems (e.g. SAP/MRP) to support manufacturing requirements.
Ensure purchasing activities comply with internal controls, regulatory, and quality standards (ISO 13485).
Monitor supplier performance and drive corrective actions and improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with Logistics to optimise inbound freight, storage, and handling costs.
Partner with Procurement, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Finance to reduce inventory, minimise scrap, and ensure process compliance.
Requirements
Strong experience managing inventory planning and purchasing in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in inventory management or purchasing within manufacturing.
Experience working with suppliers across multiple global regions (Europe, Asia, North America).
Strong team management experience.
Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a multi-site manufacturing environment.
