Join our dedicated team where we provide specialist engineering services in the Design and Construction of High Voltage Transmission and Distribution Assets for the Networks Business.
The team specialises in:
Conceptual and detailed Engineering Design.
Design Safety Management.
Project programming and commercial management.
Key Responsibilities
Provision of the requisite civil and structural technical engineering services within the Stations Civil Team fully embracing ESB’s Safety Culture.
Prepare civil and structural engineering technical specifications, reports and design drawings.
Undertake site inspections, data collection and analysis to facilitate effective technical designs and / or technical assessments.
Specify and manage sub-contractor and sub-consultant inputs for site investigation, assessment, feasibility, design and consenting purposes.
Knowledge, Skills And Experience

We are looking for the following skills.
A high level of specialist expertise, including a strong technical capability, in Civil or Structural engineering.
Strong project management and program management skills.
Ability to work and share knowledge and competencies within a team structure.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong safety awareness and competency.
Essential
At least 2 years relevant Civil or Structural engineering experience.
A full clean Irish/EU driving licence
Flexibility to travel nationwide.
Qualifications
Essential: Level 8 Engineering Degree, Level 7 Engineering Degree with relevant experience.
Location
This role is based in Dublin or Cork Offices but travel to project locations as required, is a key requirement of the role. The successful candidate may work flexibly within their jurisdiction with attendance at the workplace for in-person collaboration on at least two anchor days per week. All smart working arrangements are subject to manager approval and ongoing review, based on the operational requirements of the role, the team, and the individual.
