Job Overview
The role of the Enhanced Nurse is to work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide nursing duties, facilitate personal care needs, mobility and support access to services in the community.
This position involves working closely with service owners to develop person-centred plans, facilitating daily programmes and contributing to a positive and supportive environment for individuals with disabilities.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, empathy and understanding of individual needs, ensuring high-quality care and support.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive nursing care, including assessments, planning, implementation and evaluation of care plans.
* Assist with personal care needs, including bathing, dressing and toileting.
* Support individuals with mobility issues, promoting independence and participation in activities.
* Facilitate access to services in the community, promoting social inclusion and participation.

Requirements
1. A nursing RNID qualification validated for working in the Republic of Ireland.
2. Be registered in the Intellectual Disability Nurse Division of the live Register of Nurses kept by Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
3. At least 1 year and 16 weeks of relevant nursing work experience after graduating.
