Sales Consultant Role Overview
As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for delivering sales results in Personal Lines, Agri and Commercial Business. The role involves assisting in the overall running of the Sales Office to deliver exceptional customer care service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Be proactive in achieving individual sales targets through prospecting, up selling and cross selling of business.
* Deal with customer queries and refer unresolved/technical queries to relevant personnel.
* Ensure all systems and procedures are complied with.
* Maintain comprehensive knowledge of commercial product range and compliance requirements.
* Work flexibly within the Sales Office and participate in office tasks.
* Provide relief to other Sales Offices in the region as required.
* Develop working relationships with local FBD Life and Pension Financial Advisor.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Leaving Certificate or equivalent qualification.
* Relevant third level qualification desired.
* Approved Product Advisor (APA), Approved Product Professional (APP) or Certified Insurance Practitioner (CIP) qualifications.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Previous insurance/financial services experience advantageous.
