Lead Mechanical Engineer Position
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented engineer to lead our mechanical engineering design team.
This role involves overseeing the design and coordination of mechanical systems for buildings, developing specifications and technical reports, and collaborating with clients, vendors, and contractors to deliver high-quality design solutions.
To succeed in this position, you will need to have a degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering, a strong understanding of CIBSE, ASHRAE, and building regulations, as well as proficiency in Hevacomp and Auto CAD.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a consultancy environment and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and support mechanical engineering design and coordination across a range of building projects.
• Develop specifications, technical reports, drawings, and calculations in accordance with current regulations and design standards.
• Collaborate with clients, vendors, contractors, and internal project teams to deliver high-quality, compliant design solutions.
• Contribute to pre-construction engineering deliverables, including detailed design development, submittals, and coordination with other services.
• Provide technical input and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, including off-site support during construction.
• Required Experience & Skills:
• Degree qualified in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience, ideally gained within a consultancy environment.
• Strong understanding of CIBSE, ASHRAE, Building Regulations, EN and IEC standards.
• Proficient in Hevacomp, Auto CAD, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proactive approach to teamwork.
• Demonstrated ability to manage client and contractor interactions effectively.
