Job OverviewThis role supports manufacturing operations in the areas of process development, tool design, machine programming, machinery & equipment acquisition, manufacturing layout, continuous improvement and other duties associated with engineering support of production.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and contribute to complex, cross‑functional and multi‑site engineering projects, including planning, execution, cost tracking, and reporting.Support manufacturing operations and resolve process issues through investigations, CAPA, NCs, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives (Lean/Six Sigma).Develop and execute process validations, engineering studies, and technical documentation (IQ, OQ, PQ, CSV, TMV).Drive process, equipment, tooling, and fixture design improvements; support new equipment selection, installation, validation, and training.Provide day‑to‑day production support and apply measurement systems, gage design, and inspection methods to support quality and testing.Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements; communicate business issues and collaborate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.Experience and Skills4-6 years of experience in manufacturing and/or engineering is required. Previous experience working in a regulated industry, such as Medical Device, is preferred. Six Sigma or Lean Sigma certification or 4+ years of experience preferred. Experience developing and implementing robust automated manufacturing equipment, preferred.
