As the firm continues to expand its Financial Services practice, an opportunity has arisen for a talented
Senior Banking & Finance Solicitor
to join its growing team.
The Opportunity
This is a key role within a dynamic and well-respected Banking & Finance department, offering exposure to a broad range of high-quality transactions. The successful candidate will advise on a wide variety of domestic and cross-border financing matters, including corporate lending, acquisition finance, real estate finance, and fund finance.
You will work closely with partners and clients on complex deals, taking a lead role in structuring, negotiating, and managing transactions from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities
* Advise lenders and borrowers on a range of banking and finance transactions, including:
* Corporate and leveraged finance
* Real estate and development finance
* Fund and structured finance
* Syndicated lending and refinancing transactions
* Draft, review, and negotiate facility agreements, security documentation, and related financing documents.
* Manage and coordinate multi-jurisdictional transactions in collaboration with foreign counsel.
* Provide strategic legal and commercial advice to clients, balancing technical accuracy with practical business insight.
* Support and mentor junior lawyers and trainees within the team.
* Contribute to business development initiatives and maintain strong client relationships.
Candidate Profile
* Qualified solicitor in Ireland (or another common law jurisdiction) with at least 5–8 years' PQE in Banking & Finance.
* Experience gained within a leading Irish or international law firm or the in-house legal team of a financial institution.
* Strong technical skills in one or more of: corporate lending, real estate finance, or fund finance.
* Excellent drafting, negotiation, and transaction management skills.
* Commercially astute, client-focused, and able to operate autonomously.
* Team-oriented with a collaborative approach and a commitment to excellence.
