Job Description
Ballinlough Refrigeration Limited, based in Ballinlough, Co. Roscommon, is currently seeking Electricians for immediate start at facilities in Roscommon, Cork and Dublin.

Responsibilities
* Perform electrical maintenance, inspections and repairs on refrigeration systems, compressors, motors, control panels and related equipment.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults on refrigeration and HVAC systems.
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules to minimise downtime and extend equipment life.
* Install, test and commission new electrical components and control systems as required.
* Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations and company standards.
* Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete work orders through the company's maintenance management system.
* Support refrigeration engineers during maintenance and installation projects.
* Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and participate in the on‑call rota if required.
* Identify and recommend electrical system improvements to enhance energy efficiency and reliability.
* Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment in compliance with health and safety standards.
Qualifications
* Fully qualified Electrician (trade certification or equivalent).
* Minimum 3–5 years' experience in electrical maintenance, preferably within refrigeration, HVAC or industrial environments.
* Strong understanding of control systems, single‑phase and three‑phase power and electrical schematics.
* Knowledge of refrigeration systems and related components is highly desirable.
* Experience with PLCs, sensors and control wiring.
* Valid Electrical Safe Pass / Working at Heights / confined space certification (as applicable).
* Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
* Safety‑focused and detail‑oriented.
* Excellent diagnostic and technical skills.
* Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
* Proactive and reliable with a commitment to high‑quality work.
Remuneration
Annual remuneration: €35,880.00 (pay rate €17.25 per hour). 40 hours per week.
