Excel Recruitment is currently recruiting an experienced Rigid Driver (Category C) for deliveries within Cork City and surrounding areas. This role involves safe, timely deliveries while providing a professional service to customers.
This is a Permanent, full time position.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Driving a rigid vehicle (Category C) for local/regional deliveries
2. Loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently
3. Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
4. Ensuring deliveries are completed on time and accurately
5. Maintaining delivery paperwork and records
6. Adhering to road safety, transport, and company regulations
Requirements:
7. Full Category C (Rigid) driving licence
8. Valid Driver CPC and Tachograph card
9. Previous rigid driving experience preferred
10. Good knowledge of Cork City routes
11. Strong time management and customer service skills
