Harvey Norman Ireland is seeking Online Order Assistants to support the continuing growth of our brand in store and online. The role focuses on managing online orders, ensuring a smooth and efficient process, and delivering excellent customer service to create an outstanding shopping experience.

YOUR JOB
Your Tasks Will Include
* Processing all online orders received by the store.
* Responding to customer queries relating to online purchases.
* The picking, packing and preparation of goods for dispatch/delivery.
* Ensuring effective delivery of all goods by packing goods to the highest standard.
* Liaising with delivery contractors to ensure they meet the company’s requirements for a speedy, efficient and professional delivery service.
* Offering customers the highest level of customer service in keeping with Harvey Norman standards.
* Being passionate and knowledgeable about the online customer experience and seeking out ways to improve it.
* Active assistance for customers using our click and collect service in store.
* Assisting with any other duties as required by your Team Leader/Manager.
* Keeping your areas of responsibility clean, vibrant, tidy, and customer friendly.
* Ensuring company standards of performance are followed at all times.
YOUR PROFILE
Your Knowledge, Skills And Experience Include
* Experience & Qualifications: Leaving Cert or equivalent is required. Experience managing systems and organizing delivery including picking and packing is preferred. Ideally 1-3 years in hospitality, tourism service, or face-to-face retailing.
* Strong Admin Experience: A background in administrative roles requiring structured steps, with high attention to detail. Quick learner with enthusiasm for absorbing new concepts and processes.
* Motivated & Target Driven: Highly motivated to perform and strive for excellence.
* Strong Communicator / Good Listener: Excellent listening and interpersonal skills.
* Passionate about online business: Interest in online sales, including managing customer queries, shipping online orders, and assisting customers in-store for click-and-collect.
* Energetic, Self-motivated & Persistent: Able to work toward goals with minimal supervision.
* Positive attitude and outlook: Optimistic about the future and personal performance.

Additional Information
* This is a full-time 11-month fixed-term contract with potential for permanency.
* Flexibility to work store opening hours, including days, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
* The successful candidate will be required to attend a company induction day.
