I'm currently recruiting on behalf of my client for a Temporary HR Admin Support role based in Galway. This position is a cover role for 3 weeks with an immediate start.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
Recruitment & New Joiner Support
1. Coordinating and sending out interview invitations
2. Preparing and collating interview packs and supporting documents for hiring managers
3. Issuing pre-employment paperwork and arranging pre-employment medicals
4. Ensuring electronic personnel files are up to date and accurately maintained
5. Monitoring the recruitment inbox and responding to applicant queries
6. Tracking VDU (Visual Display Unit) assessments
Absence & Leave Administration
7. Logging sickness absence forms and managing medical certificate records
8. Following up on any missing IB1 forms or medical certificates
9. Assisting in the preparation of monthly absence and leave reports
General HR Administration
10. Managing the HR inbox and responding to internal enquiries
11. Drafting standard HR correspondence and documentation
12. Assisting in the preparation of the internal HR newsletter
13. Raising purchase orders for HR-related services or supplies
14. Keeping organisational charts up to date
Internal Communications Support
15. Assisting in the creation and distribution of the bimonthly HR newsletter
16. Supporting the coordination of internal HR events
17. Producing posters, flyers, and intranet content
18. Helping deliver key employee engagement communications
19. Circulating weekly HR whereabouts updates
Ad Hoc & Project Support
20. Supporting the HR team with various ad hoc projects and initiatives
21. Providing general administrative assistance across the wider HR department
