With 13 manufacturing facilities and over 3,000 employees globally, Silent‐Aire is trusted by leading hyperscale cloud providers and data centre operators worldwide.Due to continued growth, we are now seeking a Test Engineer to join our team at our Dublin 12 facility.### The RoleAs a Test Engineer, you will play a key role in the testing, commissioning, qualification, and validation of HVAC systems for data centre applications. You will work cross‐functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Production teams to ensure systems meet performance, safety, and compliance requirements prior to release.You will act as a technical authority during Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), system start‐up, and functional testing phases, while maintaining strong stakeholder engagement throughout the process.### Key Responsibilities* Take ownership of Lock Out / Tag Out (LOTO) procedures during testing activities* Prepare, develop, and execute Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) protocols* Conduct system start‐up and functional testing activities* Ensure safe system operation prior to and during start‐up, functional testing, and qualification phases* Develop system impact assessments, qualification and validation protocols, and final reports* Engage with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Production teams to understand operational requirements and provide feedback on test results, issues, and improvement opportunities* Maintain strong stakeholder relationships across internal teams and external parties* Organise, review, and track daily test activities, verifications, and task completion* Coordinate closely with Production teams to ensure compliance with Health & Safety requirements and achievement of production targets### AccountabilityYou will have lead accountability for:* Factory Acceptance Testing* Key stakeholder relationship management* Technical documentation and reporting* Team collaboration, communication, and coordination### Shared Responsibilities* Process and document management, including SOPs* Supplier engagement and collaboration* Continuous improvement initiatives* Teaching, learning, mentoring, and motivating team members* Implementing checks, balances, and lessons learned to minimise repeat issues### Additional Areas of Contribution* Technical input and problem‐solving* Design collaboration and review support* Strategy implementation and operational excellence initiatives### Skills & Experience* Minimum 3 years’ experience in engineering or engineering‐related project activities, ideally within a manufacturing or construction environment* Experience delivering HVAC systems within the data centre industry* Strong understanding of testing, commissioning, and validation methodologies* High level of proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite* Strong communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills* A structured, safety‐focused, and detail‐oriented approach to workYour buildings have a purpose.
