Dedicated Neurology Nurse Manager – Permanent, full‑time, Monday‑Friday, nationwide across Leinster and Munster.

Key Responsibilities
Support the existing patient caseload and onboard new patients, ensuring high‑quality clinical care.
Schedule, coordinate and facilitate care for the entire support programme alongside the neurology team.
Perform assessments in the referring unit prior to treatment initiation (if requested).
Facilitate the transition of patients from hospital to home support service.
Attend hospital or home for initial training and post‑hospital visits.
Provide on‑go telephone support and maintenance visits at pre‑approved intervals.
Offer reactive visits and staff training in hospital/respite facilities.
Serve as key contact for multidisciplinary teams, referring units, patients and families, team members and stakeholders.
Provide clinical review, oversight and assessment for the nursing team.
Ensure quality systems are maintained within the TCP Group.
Provide overnight services or long‑distance driving nationwide as required.
Respond to and resolve helpline calls and document them in patient notes.
Represent yourself professionally, comply with company policy, the IPHA code of practice and the Nursing and Midwifery Board code of conduct.
Identify risks, report incidents and near misses, and report adverse events in line with pharmacovigilance procedures.
Follow policies for decontamination and infection control.
Participate in liaison meetings between hospital units, programme sponsor and TCP.
Co‑ordinate, streamline and maintain the service at the highest clinical standards.
Review referrals, service processes and patient safety initiatives.
Provide education to clients, families and colleagues on relevant disease areas.
Maintain accurate records and report electronically at each visit.
Participate in data collection, clinical studies and trials as requested by the client.
Keep clinical skills updated, maintain documentation and report departmental reviews.
Qualifications
Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a neurology background – preferred.
RNG‑NMBI registration desirable.
Managerial experience desirable.
Strong work ethic, ability to work with a team and self‑initiated.
Excellent communication, education and presentation skills.
Systematic and structured approach to client service management.
Flexibility to travel nationwide, including overnight stays.
Full clean driving licence.
Competence in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
