The Opportunity
In This Role You Will
* Actively participate in the tender/bid process—from initial documentation through analysis and reporting.
* Manage change processes—identifying, analyzing, approving, and implementing changes affecting project costs.
* Analyze tenders/bids to ensure client value for money.
* Assist in preparing and agreeing on final accounts, including handling claims to ensure clients get the best value.
* Create estimates and cost plans for key client developments.
* Oversee project spend by creating valuations and cost reports, and communicate variations clearly.
* Support project management with excellent cost documentation and timely communication.
* Support dispute resolution and claims with transparency.
* Foster team growth through mentorship and leadership.
We Would Love To Hear From You If You
* Have experience as a senior cost manager, preferably from a consultancy background.
* Have experience in pre-contract cost management, including budget control, cost planning, and initiating change discussions with stakeholders, with knowledge of alternative construction materials.
* Are chartered or on the path to becoming chartered; we can assist.
* Have a degree or equivalent experience in project management or construction.
* Are an excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing.
* Enjoy a dynamic environment with the ability to manage priorities and deadlines.
* Build strong relationships with your team and clients through shared purpose, openness, and a positive attitude.
