This investment reflects the incredible talent and innovation in Galway and the wider West of Ireland.We are committed to acknowledging and valuing the differences of our employees and creating an environment where everyone can develop and thrive.About the RoleWe're looking for an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to join our Galway-based R&D engineering team.In this role, you will design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud solutions across Azure and AWS, supporting Ministry Brands' next generation of products and services.You'll work closely with cross-functional teams—including Engineering, Product, and Infrastructure—to deliver innovative, cloud-native architectures that power our global SaaS ecosystem.This is an exciting opportunity to shape enterprise-grade cloud environments in a collaborative and fast-paced setting, with a focus on continuous improvement, automation, and technical excellence.What You'll DoCollaborate with software development and infrastructure teams to design, test, and implement secure, scalable cloud-hosted solutions.Define and enforce cloud architecture standards, design patterns, and operational best practices.Lead modernization efforts such as data center consolidations, containerization (Kubernetes), and automation of CI/CD pipelines.Provide hands-on expertise with Azure and AWS (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) environments.Implement robust data migration and security controls, ensuring compliance with PCI DSS and industry regulations.Partner with development teams to enable continuous delivery and seamless integration across systems.Troubleshoot complex system issues and propose sustainable technical solutions.Mentor junior engineers and drive adoption of emerging cloud technologies.Participate in architectural reviews, documentation, and roadmap planning.What You BringBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.10+ years of overall IT experience, with 7+ years in multi-cloud environments (Azure & AWS).Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Ruby, or Bash).Deep understanding of infrastructure technologies—servers (Windows/Linux), networking, databases (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL), storage, and cloud security.Proven experience in cloud transformation initiatives and infrastructure automation.Experience designing and supporting AI-driven infrastructure in hybrid/multi-cloud environments.Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.Knowledge of ITIL practices and experience working in PCI-compliant environments is a plus.What's in it for YouHybrid working model (Galway office and remote flexibility).25 days annual leave + public holidays.100% employer-paid private health insurance (including dependents).Employer-matched pension scheme.Income protection and life assurance coverage.Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) and wellness initiatives.Career development through mentorship, certifications, and professional training.
