Sales Executive
Responsible To:
Sales Manager, and Group Sales Director.
Job Summary:
The candidate will become part of the Sales team, with a primary focus on developing, implementing, and managing sales strategies to increase hotel revenue, drive bookings, and strengthen client relationships. While the role is sales-focused, the candidate will also collaborate with the Marketing team to ensure alignment on promotional initiatives and brand visibility efforts.
Responsibilities:
·Create, analyse and manage comprehensive sales reports to inform strategy and decision making.
·Identify, target and generate new leads, to grow and secure business for the hotel.
·Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients.
·Achieve quality proactive and reactive sales calls.
·Utilise the Envision CRM system to manage and maintain detailed client records.
·Conduct hotel site inspections with prospective and current clients.
·Maintain clear communication with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure consistency and alignment.
·Leverage customer insights to tailor offers, packages and communications that align with guest preferences.
·Implement sales and marketing initiatives from concept through execution, ensuring coordination across all relevant stakeholders.
·Support targeted campaigns, promotions and media placements to generate demand and drive revenue.
·Ensure promotional content is current, relevant and supports strategic goals.
Other duties may be assigned by the Sales Manager and collaboration with the Hodson Bay Group’s extensive team is expected to meet the changing needs of the business.
Requirements:
·A proactive mindset and a genuine interest in sales and marketing within the hospitality industry.
·Fluent level of spoken & written English.
·Proven experience of working as part of a team.
·Results driven and focused on performance.
·Ability to work without direct supervision.
·Drive and enthusiasm along with strong attention to detail.
·Excellent planning and organisational skills.
·Customer service and interpersonal skills.
·Comfortable in a data-driven decision-making environment.
·Proficient in IT and willing to learn new systems.
·Capacity for flexibility, innovation and adaptability to change.
·A relevant third level qualification would be desirable but not essential.
·Previous experience in a customer-facing or sales support role will be an advantage.
