Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Clinical Specialist MRI role based in Cork. The Clinical Specialist will be responsible for providing high-quality MRI imaging services, ensuring the safety and care of patients, and working in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Key responsibilities include performing MRI scans, monitoring patient progress, mentoring and training staff, and ensuring compliance with clinical protocols and safety standards.
Qualifications
* Active CORU registration
* 6+ years working in MRI
* Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, colleagues, and referring clinicians
* Solid understanding and experience in medicine related to diagnostic imaging
* Ability to conduct training and support professional development for staff
* Experience in clinical research or the ability to contribute to research initiatives
* Commitment to patient care, attention to detail, and adherence to clinical safety standards
* Degree or equivalent qualifications in Radiography
* Post graduate qualification in MRI desirable
