Due to continued growth, our client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Logistics Manager to join their team in Donegal.
You will play a key role in optimizing the supply chain and ensuring the seamless movement of goods from point of origin to final destination.
Key Responsibilities
6. Overseeing all aspects of the company's logistics operations across several sites
7. Coordinating transportation and distribution globally
8. Managing inventory of packaging materials and implementing efficient processes
9. Maximizing efficiency and minimizing costs while maintaining the highest standards of quality and customer service.
10. Ensuring that all personnel follow health & safety and environmental legislation
11. Managing hauliers ensuring contracts and agreements are in place
12. Keeping up to date with national and international transport regulations, ensuring compliance
Essential Requirements
13. At least 5 years International Logistics Management experience, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
14. Strong understanding of logistics principles, practices, and technologies, including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and supply chain optimization.
15. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate, collaborate, and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
16. Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends and opportunities, and develop and implement effective strategies and solutions.
17. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
18. Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards governing logistics operations
19. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite software and other relevant logistics software and systems
