Job DescriptionThe role of Operations Planner is working as part of a busy drain, plumbing and liquid waste company, the operations team manage and organise all of the plumbers/drivers jobs. 70% of our work is reactive so things change quickly, candidate will need to ability to manage and reorganise our work schedule to accommodate customers needs.The day to day duties will involve;Answering phones, emails, dealing directly with customersPlanning jobsLiaise with operations team to organise jobs throughout the day.Liaising with operatives throughout the day, providing them with all the relevant support to complete each job successfully.Liaising with drivers & operatives on a frequent basis throughout the dayBriefing and debriefing drivers about jobsRouting of vehiclesCompleting all necessary Transport administration.Ideal candidates will have some administrative experience in a fast moving business environmentWork hours to We require a operations candidate with excellent communication and organisational skills and an ability to work in a fast paced and ever changing transport environment, a positive attitude is a must, no can doers need not apply, honest and reliable candidates only. A knowledge of logistics and transport planning experience would be an advantage, but training will be provided. Great opportunity in an established growing company.
