Location: Loughrea
Position: Grade III Clerical Officer
Hours: Full time, Mon‑Thur 9‑5.30, Fri 9‑5
Salary: €32,492
Contract: temporary 6‑week initial contract
End of January start date
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate service referrals, staff availability, and scheduling to ensure effective service coverage.
* Communicate rota or service changes clearly with staff, families, and external stakeholders as appropriate.
* Monitor service delivery records, highlighting any issues and ensuring compliance with internal procedures.
* Process timesheets, invoices, and related documentation accurately, working closely with the Finance team.
* Provide administrative and reception support, including handling calls, correspondence, record‑keeping, and general office duties.
* Maintain accurate staff and client files in line with organisational policies and procedures.
* Liaise with external agencies and partners to support service delivery and maintain effective working relationships.
* Support recruitment, interviews, and induction of new staff.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven experience in a busy administrative or clerical role.
* Proficiency in using office software (MS Office, email, etc.).
* Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
* Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
* Ability to work well under pressure.
* Knowledge of hospital or clinical operations is an advantage.
