Job Objectives
The role of an Assistant Support Worker is to provide care to people who avail of our service, supporting you in developing and upskilling you in providing high‑quality care, and maintaining professional working relationships with team members and Service Users.
Day-to-day Responsibilities
* Support people with their daily plan
* Support people while in the community
* Support people with education, skills development and achieving personal outcomes
* Support people with living skills such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, attending appointments, family visits, etc.
* Be familiar with and adhere to all company policies, procedures, standards, regulations and codes of practice
* Provide shift work over 24 hours a day and 7 days a week
Skills and Requirements
* No qualification required – all necessary training provided
* Social Care Workers require Level 7/8 degree in Social Care/Healthcare or related discipline
* Relevant life experience desirable but not essential
* Good attitude to work and passion for supporting people
* Full Driver's Licence required
